Cattleya orchid dark fairy
There is nothing quite like painting orchids and for this fine art fairy painting I decided that orchids were absolutely the way to go. I painted billowing clouds of cattleya orchids, that complemented the green-haired fairy perfectly too. Not only did I really enjoy the orchids in this painting, but the colors of the painting are just beautiful overall. One of my favorite details of this gothic painting is the quizzical, yet mischievous look on the face of the fairy. Her eyes contain a wealth of detail, which is something that I am incredibly proud of being able to create.
