Mushroom butterfly fairy
Whilst some fairies love living in the light, there are also those who take solace in the night. This dark fairy is definitely one that enjoys the twilight hours. This is a night scene fairy painting, the fairy is sat amongst the toadstools, simply contemplating everything that is around her. She loves natural life, she loves everything that seems to thrive in the darkness. I wanted to make sure that despite the dark nature of this painting, there was plenty of light details too. Her hair is full of warm white flowers and even the cobweb that is detailed in the painting features some gentle glistening dewdrops.
